Reminder: Anger
So when one of you feels angry, sit down if standing and lie down if sitting.
I think this is extremely important to remember this. Also that if one is angry the should do wudu. It is cited (I do apologise I can’t locate the source at the moment) that when you are angry you should do wudu. As anger is akin to fire and only water can out out fire.
In this day and age we become angry and hateful towards petty things and we react very sensitively to what others say and do. I think it is extremely important from time to time to just remember that you need to stay calm and that refraining from getting angry will not only be rewarded but it helps to create a individual who is capable of restraint and makes you stronger and this all contributes to becoming the kind of person Allah swt will be pleased by.
Stay calm and collected. & If you do find yourself becoming angry, follow the aforementioned Hadith. Do wudu. Recite the Qur’an. Pray.
“Truly, it is by the Remembrance of Allah that hearts find rest.” [Qur’an, 13.28]
